Discover SCUBA Diving

The Discover Scuba Diving program lets you experience the tranquility and excitement of diving under the supervision of a Diving Professional in a pool or a pool-like condition. During your adventure, youíll learn some of the basic concepts and skills necessary to breathe under water. We’re confident you’ll fall in love and want to learn more. (This is not a Refresher Course for previously Certified Divers)
What you get

As soon as you Discover Scuba Diving, you’re on your way to an internationally recognized certification. That’s because you may learn skills used in the Open Water Diver course during your Discover Scuba Diving adventure. The skills you practice in this course may be credited toward the Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certifications. Ask your instructor for more details on how to give SCUBA Diving a try in the ocean. What’s Next?

The Discover Scuba Diving course gives you confidence and skills to move on to the Open Water Diver certification where you become a fully certified scuba diver, able to plan and make dives, almost anywhere in the world.
Requirements

Minimum Age: 10
A completed and signed Try/Discover Scuba Diving brochure pool
There are no course materials needed; we’ll keep it simple, fun and get you on your way to taking your first breath and flying weightlessly under the water! Price includes rental of all gear, including a scuba unit, mask, snorkel, boots and fins.

Pool Session is Only $95 per person (Reservation Required)

*The Dive Shop On McEver routinely schedules scuba trips to local lakes, quarries and oceans as well as more extravagant adventures, such as the Florida Keys, Bonaire or South America. Price does not include trip expenses, gear rental, room, board or any other cost outside of the Discover Scuba Open Water Session. Talk with your instructor for more information.
